You may have been struggling to find pet friendly accommodation in Blackpool. Indeed it's quite difficult to find a place anywhere at all, that is genuinely as welcoming to pets as it is to people. I believe that if you decide to visit The Chestefield Pet Friendly Hotel in Blackpool however, you definitely have found the genuine article!
Pets are very welcome throughout the hotel, including the bar and TV lounge. The only place they are not allowed is in the dining room (except of course service dogs who can accompany their owners anywhere in the building).
We want our guests to feel right at home, and therefore we expect that you will want to leave your pet alone in your room from time to time. This is fine with us! Of course we prefer that you don't leave your dog(s) unattended in the rooms for long periods, but just as you would at home, if you pop out for a meal or a couple of drinks it is perfectly acceptable to leave them for an hour or two.
We are very relaxed where pets are concerned and want them to feel relaxed too. When they are in the public areas it is best to keep them on a lead or in a pet carrier to avoid conflict with other visiting pets. It's also important to remember that we are a family orientated hotel, so it is likely your pet will meet lots of people, including children, during your stay.
Family dogs belong with their families so to avoid the worry and expense of leaving them at home with relatives or in boarding kennels, why not bring them along with you? We also welcome other pets such as cats and rabbits! (Litter trays , bedding, food, bowls & pet carriers required)After all pets need a holiday too!

I think you should learn some bird tricks, because it might make your job easier. Imagine how easy it would be to train other people's birds. That way, they would be quiet at night and other guests could sleep easier. Plus, the birds could be trained to fly into other people's rooms and take their jewels! Then you return them for a reward!

I like the fact that you accommodate pet owners and let them stay. A pet friendly hotel is a welcome addition. I used to live on the outskirts of Chicago and seem to recall a hotel that allowed pets. I'm sure there are places like that here in the states.
